Rust Console Edition is released on Xbox Series X|S. One of the best survival games is now available for console owners.
Rust has been offering a solid multiplayer survival experience for years. It is one of those titles that never gets old and has a loyal player community. It started its early access period back in 2013 for PC and concluded it in 2018 with a full release.
Now refined and improved, the game is released for Xbox and PlayStation users under the name of Rust Console Edition. Although the developers planned to release the console version of the game back in December 2020, COVID-19 pandemic prevented the testing and development process.
In March 2021, the team behind Rust Console Edition announced that the game would be available in this May. Fortunately, no further delays occured and the game has become available for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S today. We also know that the console version will have a different post-launch process. The updates for PC version of the game are going to released seperately whereas the console version is going to follow a different roadmap.
The console version was developed by Double Eleven which stated that they were grateful for the cooperation of Facepunch Studios. Two companies have joined forces to bring Rust’s survival experience to consoles. Double Eleven has been developing the game for the few years.
Rust Console Edition Is Available on Microsoft Store
There are three different versions of the game on Microsoft Store. Rust Console Edition offers the base game with and the solid survival experience on consoles.
There is also a Rust Console Edition – Deluxe as well. This version offers a New Cobalt Employee in addition to a Welcome Pack and access to Public Test Branch. The ultimate edition on the other hand provides the content below:
