More Horror Games Coming to Xbox in 2021

It is great news that more horror games are coming to Xbox in 2021. Resident Evil: Village started the fire and these games will grow it. There are games for all kinds of horror fans. The list includes jump scares, psychological horror, zombie-blasting action, cosmic horror, and more.

Back 4 Blood

Release Date: October 12th

Back 4 Blood is the latest co-op shooter entry from Left 4 Dead developer, Turtle Rock Studios. You’ll be a human survivor in this game and need to team up. The goal is to eradicate ‘Ridden’ from the city which is a parasite-infected group.

Chernobylite

Release Date: July

In this non-linear survival RPG, you’ll search for your missing wife. In Chernobylite, you’ll also deal with the creatures coming from their world to ours through a breach. The game is taking place in an amazing digitally created location, Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.

Dead Static Drive

Release Date: 2021

The game is described by the developer as “Grand Theft Cthulhu.” Dead Static Drive is a horror adventure where you need to find a way to survive your road trip and reach your family in any way possible. This game offers awesome artwork and atmosphere and is a comic-book-style horror adventure.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes

Release Date: 2021

The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes travels you to a Sumerian temple buried in Iraq. The temple holds a group of ancient creatures for Special Forces soldiers searching for weapons. That’s why the team has to work together with their enemies if they want to survive.

Evil Dead: The Game

Release Date: 2021

In Evil Dead: The Game, you can take control of Ash Williams or one of his friends. In this co-op battle against the creatures of the Necronomicon, you’ll need to work as a team to close the breach between worlds. You can also choose to work against each other in PvP matches too. The game is based on original Evil Dead films and the Ash vs Evil Dead TV show.

In Sound Mind

Release Date: August 3rd

In Sound Mind welcomes you to a town where you need to uncover secrets. This game is a thrilling psychological horror adventure. The most important feature of the game is definitely the creepy faceless dolls. For that reason, it is without a doubt scary.

Martha Is Dead

Release Date: 2021

You need to find out what happened to your sister because she was found dead during WW2. Martha Is Dead lets you take a look behind the mysteries of the war and experience psychological stress too.

Observer: System Redux

Release Date: July 16th

Observer: System Redux was removed from Xbox Series X|S a while ago. But it’s being released on Xbox One this time. This entry offers great visuals and a much better experience. In addition to that, the game takes place in a dystopian future where you travel into people’s dreams. Isn’t that great?

Once Upon a Time in Roswell

Release Date: 2021

This game actually was announced a few years ago. The development process was a little problematic but the release date is expected to be in this year. Once Upon A Time In Roswell‘s story begins as you play a detective trying to find a missing family. Additionally, the journey includes thrilling flashbacks and is a good example of the psychological horror genre.

Quantum Error

Release Date: 2021

As a cosmic horror FPS, Quantum Error asks you to go on a mission to save people from a burning facility. The job will not be easy when you enter the territory. That’s because you will have to face different kinds of interdimensional uninvited guests.

Scorn

Release Date: 2021

The team behind Scorn describes it as an atmospheric first-person horror adventure. That’s why the trailer is definitely mind-bending and the game offers much more weirdness. It offers a world of gore nightmares and biomechanical oddness.

Song of Horror

Release Date: May 28th

In Song of Horror, the story is based on 13 characters haunted by an evil being named Presence. This entity is very successful at keeping you scared as it adapts the way you play.
