We all have been there as an Xbox owner. You are sitting in front of your TV, trying to figure out what to play and some awesome AAA title is calling your name.
You click download and then you watch the download bar tick up at a snail’s pace. Thankfully, our friends over at the Xbox On YouTube channel compiled a nice list of 10 Super Quick To Download Games for Xbox Series S. All of these games are available to download right away on Xbox Game Pass. You will also notice that these Xbox Series S games are all under 1GB.

2. The Touryst

Summary: The Touryst is an action-adventure puzzle game with a nice score of 79% of Metacritic. You can really lose yourself and feel like you are on vacation in this topical paradise of a world. On Xbox Series S, you can see those waves roll through and almost feel like you are really on a vacation. Wandering around the island, meet the locals and other tourists. Basically, just have a nice time and pretend you are truly on a vacation.
3. Dead Cells

Summary: Dead Cells is a roguelike hack and slash platformer similar to the Metroidvania type of games. The game employes a gorgeous pixel art style and will satisfy any player who gets enjoyment out of roguelike games. Die to random spike traps, decapitation or a boss that you just thought you understood until he sent you out of this life. Similar to Hades, you can just brush yourself off after dying and try again with new skills and equipment. There are 100’s of hours of replayability in Dead Cells.
4. Slay the Spire

Summary: Speaking of roguelikes, Slay the Spire is another low-memory game that made the list. Slay the Spire is a more traditional turn Based RPG roguelike, where you have time to make decisions. Battles are turn-based card battles as you go up in the spire and fight a variety of enemies and bosses. The game get’s tougher as you go higher up in the spire. Every time you win a battle, you get new cards to help you during the adventure.
5. Undertale

Summary: Undertale is 2D turn-based RPG where you play a child who has fallen into the underground. In this Alice in Wonderland-inspired trippy adventure, you will engage in a bullet hell style combat system where you have to dodge a lot of incoming dangers. The file size of Undertale is so small that you can download it 335 times and that might equal one download of a warzone. The game is kind of hard to put in words so we recommend you just watch the video review below explaining it. Each run can be totally different depending on the decisions you made.

Summary: Ever had the fantasy of being a grotesque monster that destroys humanity? Well, Carrion is the game for you. In this side-scrolling action game, you will be playing as a death blob that simply put causes, death. The control system is pretty advanced and gives you full control of all the tentacles. The game looks satisfying and may induce nightmares.
7. The Messenger

Summary: The messenger is another action platformer developed by Devolver Digital and invokes a sense of nostalgia from the early days of platform gaming. Summary: This new side-scrolling action-adventure platformer tells the story of Narita Boy, as they work to save the Digital Kingdom from the stallions.
