What is Xbox Gameshare?

Xbox Gameshare lets you share games and the benefits of your Xbox Game Pass or Xbox Live Gold subscriptions with any user you want. You can use this feature to set your primary console as a different one from the one you most use. This lets you access your digital games from different devices. It also lets your friends use it too.

How To Gameshare?

First of all, you should turn on your Xbox console and sign in to your Xbox Live account.

  • Press the Xbox button,
  • Navigate to the furthest right tab, “Profile & System”.
  • Select the “Add” or “Switch” button and
  • Click “Add New”.

  • Go to the “Profile and System” tab
  • Hit “Add” or “Switch”
  • Switch to your friend’s account.

Now you are logged in to your friend’s account. After that,

  • Go back to “Profile and System” again,
  • Hit “Settings”.
  • From settings, hit “General”
  • “Personalization”
  • “My Home Xbox”

Now you should choose to “Make This My Home Xbox”. All you have to do next is to repeat the steps above with your account on your friend’s Xbox. It looks a little complicated but it’s easier to do than reading it.

The technology is on our side with this feature. Although it is nice to see the benefits of it, it is also a little sad to leave the disc-sharing days behind.
