The Xbox Cloud Gaming service is now available in Mexico, Japan, Australia, and Brazil. Microsoft recently started testing the Xbox integration of the service as well. Now it is expanding its network by making this service available in 26 different countries. The company also started testing the streaming of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate games in these markets.
Earlier this year, Microsoft announced that they aim to bring the Xbox Cloud Gaming service to 3 billion people. With this expansion, the service will be accessible to over one billion people. The service will be available first in Brazil and Mexico. It will be used in Japan and Australia as of October 1. Users living in these countries will be able to play 100 Xbox Game Pass games with this service.
How To Use Xbox Cloud Gaming?
The Xbox Cloud Gaming service is now available in 26 different countries. Users living in these countries first need a compatible device to use the service. This device can be a PC, smartphone, or tablet. After the testing phase is over, you will be able to use this service on your Xbox Series X/S or Xbox One console. You don’t necessarily need a controller to play the games. You can also play most of the Xbox Cloud Gaming games with the touch screen.
The service will be available with exclusive apps for Android and Xbox Windows. On your other devices or iOS device, you will be able to use the service over the web. With the Xbox integration of the service, Microsoft wants to ensure that games can be loaded and played faster on the console. Although this integration is still in the testing phase, the company expects many more players to reach this service when it is fully opened.
Microsoft made this expansion at the Tokyo Game Show. The company also announced different news to its players here. You can find all the company’s announcements from Tokyo Game Show 2021 here.
