Electronics and electrical devices rely heavily on copper as a building material. Copper is the most probable metal to be used in the production of power-hungry devices. In this guide, we’ll look at the best methods for obtaining Copper in Fallout 76.

Where to Find Copper in Fallout 76?

Copper can be obtained in three ways:

  • Place extractors on copper deposits in your workshop or C.A.M.P.
  • Copper veins may be mined all over the world to provide Copper Ore, which can then be smelted to produce Copper scrap.
  • Scraping copper-bearing items.

Copper Ore Locations

Alternatively, you can enroll in a workshop or develop your C.A.M.P. near a copper deposit. A Copper Extractor can now be constructed on top of the deposit. You’ll be able to take 10 Copper ore per vein every 10 minutes if you do this.

C.A.M.P. users who wish to remove Lead Scraps from a workshop’s deposits are out of luck. The map below shows the locations of all of our workshops.

In Appalachia, you’ll find these Lead mines. You can combine it with other deposits by looking at our Fo76 Resources Map.

There are five workshops where you can find copper veins. One vein runs through each of these seminars. Copper is found in Workshops 4, 6, 8, 16, and 21 in the Fallout 76 overview.

Copper Scraps: Where to Find Them?

If you need items to scrap for copper you are looking for items that have copper in them. These items are very good:

  • High-powered magnets
  • Pre-War lamps
  • Trumpet
  • Cooking pots
  • Beaker stand
  • Sensor modules
  • Hot Plates
  • Brass miner’s lamp

The following are some of the best places to find copper-containing items:

  • Landview Lighthouse in The Forest: 6 Lighthouse Souvenir.
Walk out of the Lighthouse to the first house you see to grab one Table Light and one Broken Lamp.
  • Bolton Greens in The Forest.
  • Mountainside Bed and Breakfast
  • Abandoned Bog Town on the top floor.
  • Sugar Grove

Copper Ore Farming Route

Located in Ash Heap, this is a wonderful place to farm copper ore. A 30-minute run is typical. While this run primarily focuses on copper, it can also serve as a replacement for your standard farming of Fo76 Aluminum.

Use your Excavator Power Armor, if you have it. It will produce four times as many ores.

How to turn Copper Ore into Copper?

Smelting Copper Ore into Copper Scraps is the next step when you’ve collected enough of it. To get started, simply follow these simple steps:

  • Make sure to equip the Super Duper Perk Card.
  • Visit a Chemistry Station and click “Craft”.
  • Select “Smelting”.
  • You can smelt 3 Copper Ore + 2 Acid into 3 Copper Scrap.

Also, don’t be misled by the name: Copper Scrap is, in fact, copper. Copper Scraps from your inventory, Stash Box, or Scrapbox will be used if you want to manufacture something that requires copper.
