Destiny 2: Beyond Light is changing things up a bit. Because a fair amount of locations have been removed from the game, some Exotic weapons tied to those destinations are no longer obtainable. To even the playing field for new players, and to make those Exotics available to older players who didn’t secure them, Bungie has introduced a currency called Spoils of Conquest.
It’s important to note, Spoils of Conquest aren’t necessary for all Exotics — just those that were originally low-odds raid drops. Anarchy and Tarrabah fall into these categories.
As for how you actually get Spoils of Conquest, the answer is pretty darn simple: run raids. There are currently two (and soon to be three) raids in Destiny 2: “Last Wish” and “Garden of Salvation.” Running these raids will award you with Spoils of Conquest, which you can then accumulate and turn in to get some of those older raid drop Exotics. Pretty nifty, right?
There are tons more changes in Destiny 2: Beyond Light to go over. Be sure to keep it here for more.
