According to some sources, The Elder Scrolls 6 coming to Xbox exclusively soon. If you are playing this game so you will be the happy end of the year or 2022 for sure.
Jeff Grubb from GamesBeat‘s reporter has put the idea that Bethesda‘s Pete Hines had suggested that Starfield might be coming to PS5. Starfield PS5 has not been announced by Xbox’s Aaron Greenberg since then. The game will launch exclusively on Xbox platforms. He also appears to have heard the same and believes that “Elder Scrolls 6” is also being planned for an Xbox exclusive.
What’s the story of The Elder Scrolls?
The main story of the game revolves around the Dragonborn character. He or she is on a quest to defeat Alduin, the World-Eater, who is prophesied as the dragon that will destroy the world. The game takes place 200 years after Oblivion. It is located in Skyrim, Tamriel’s northernmost province. The player will complete quests, and the character will improve its skills over the course of the game.
The Elder Scrolls also continues the open-world theme of its predecessors, allowing the player the freedom to travel to any place in the game’s world and to ignore or delay the main storyline indefinitely.
Here’s the interview from Bethesda’s Pete Hines:
“There are Xbox brands that exist on other platforms, first and foremost. I think that’s important to note. Minecraft didn’t just stop existing on anything once Mojang got bought by Xbox. It’s a massively played game on all of these other platforms. It’s not a, ‘Sorry, you’re never going to get to play anything by Bethesda again.’ Certainly, there are going to be things that you’re not going to be able to play … Starfield, was announced as a thing that’s an Xbox exclusive. I don’t know if I would go so far as to say you’re done ever playing stuff on PlayStation. But again, I don’t know the answer to that right now.”
Since Microsoft acquired Bethesda last January, the question of The Elder Scrolls 6‘s Xbox exclusivity and its possible Xbox exclusivity has been raised. Xbox boss Phil Spencer suggested that The Elder Scrolls 6 might be exclusive to Xbox, while PlayStation’s Jim Ryan previously stated that he does not know if Starfield or The Elder Scrolls will be coming to PS5 and Xbox soon. Although Microsoft’s possible desire to use The Elder Scrolls 6 in order to increase sales of the Xbox Series X may not surprise many, it is worth noting that neither Bethesda nor Microsoft has made an official announcement. Sony fans who want to return to Tamriel should not despair.
