Maneater is now available for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Developed by Tripwire, Maneater lets players assume the role of a killer shark.
The library of Xbox Game Pass keeps getting bigger and bigger with new games each day. Microsoft’s gamer-friendly subscription service has added SnowRunner, Peggle 2, Secret Neighbor, and Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville to its arsenal. One of the most recent titles added to the library is Maneater, developed by Tripwire and Blindside. Maneater Xbox Game Pass version can be experienced on Xbox Series X|S and also on Xbox One thanks to Smart Delivery.
The game was released back in May 2020 and offered players a chance to be one of the most vicious predators of marine life, a shark. It received an average score of 70 on Metacritic and also a “Very Positive” grade on Steam. The brutal game has RPG-like elements as the players get to evolve their shark through main and side quests.
Despite its somewhat repetitive design, Maneater definitely offers a good time thanks to its entertaining gameplay, great narrative style, and the fact that you get to be a killer shark. The open-world game is worth a try if you are looking for something to play casually and from time to time. And it is now available on Xbox Game Pass as well.
Maneater Xbox Game Pass version also offers a free tiger skin for your shark.
What do we know about Maneater?
Players start as small sharks, ready to evolve and grow bigger by feeding constantly. Shark hunters, other predators, and of course, humans are among your enemies. The violent and highly brutal game offers a nice experience especially for those who love movies like Jaws.
The subscribers of the Xbox Game Pass also get a discount in case they wish to buy the game. Maneater is one of the most fun simulation games out there. In addition to Tripwire’s brutal RPG, Fuzion Frenzy, Joy Ride Turbo, Slime Rancher, and MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries will be available on the Game Pass library.
