Far Cry 6 Gameplay Livestream is Set For May 28

Far Cry 6 gameplay live stream is scheduled for May 28th, 2021. Ubisoft will reveal the gameplay of its newest title on different platforms.

You can also watch the livestream on the official YouTube channel of Xbox as well. The time for the livestream is 9.30 am PT / 12:30 pm ET.

Far Cry 6 will take us on a journey throughout a fictional country called Yara. The players will fight against the country’s dictator Anton Castillo, who is played by the famous actor Giancarlo Esposito. The talender actor was also in the cast of one of the most successful TV series, Breaking Bad.

The most recent game of Far Cry series will probably take a different approach as it will depict a whole country filled with buildings and constructs. The previous games like Far Cry 4 and Far Cry 5 invited us to vast worlds full of plains, forests and mountains.

We also know that the developer wanted to release the game in 2021. But due to the pandemic, Far Cry 6 release date had to be scheduled again and was pushed to 2022. Although there are no other details about the upcoming title, it is safe to say that Far Cry 6 will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

The developer Ubisoft also shared a teaser video to announce the livestream.

Anton Castillo’s voice accompanies the announcement video as the dictator gives a speech to his citizens. Even the voice of the talented actor feels like the new villain of Far Cry series will be a lot different. That being said, Giancarlo Esposito is not the only celebrity we saw in a Far Cry game. The previous title Far Cry 5 introduced Joseph Seed who was played Gregory Michael Bryk.

Far Cry 6 gameplay livestream will probably excite us with action packed scenes on the streets of Yara. We know that the designers of the game spent a lot of time to bring Yara to life as well.

Ubisoft’s Far Cry franchise is one of the most popular game series of all time. The developer released the first game back in 2004 with the cooperation of Crytek. After that, Ubisoft started developing new Far Cry games and became the main publisher of the series.

The games in the series do not follow a certain storyline that connect them to each other. Instead, the overall theme is always the same where a player is left on a vast open-world, filled with many dangers, allies and enemies. The last title in the first-person shooter series in Far Cry New Dawn, which followed the events in Far Cry 5.
