Review on Aron’s Adventure So Far…(Spoiler Alert)

From exhilarating battles with different creatures to exploring the vast world of Elor, there is never a dull moment when playing this game. Whether you are playing it for the first time or the hundredth time, the game has something interesting for you to discover and experience.

From the very beginning, the story catches your attention and evokes an emotional response with its story. The dialogues between the characters are able to accurately capture the emotional essence that is required to bring a game to life and fully immerse oneself in it. And for those who think that the game is just a hack and slash, you would do well to think twice.

The intuitive gameplay and battle mechanics within the game require that you have a strategy and game sense to effectively win battles. I should know, I died multiple times to a giant orc just trying to hack it with the sword (Tip: Use your arrows and create distance between yourself). The game is very simple in design but the complexity in the gameplay makes it more challenging with each new level.

Speaking of designs, the artwork for the game character resembles a lot like the characters from the 16 Personalities quiz. This a fresh new style from what we are used to with other Action-Adventure RPG games such as The Witcher, Monster Hunters, and Fallout 4. The artwork and movements are very detailed. The only thing that needs improvements would be their lighting in the game as the doesn’t always necessarily adjust correctly when moving. Especially if you are fighting in an area of low light, it can fairly difficult to see your enemies. However, the game is still in constant development with new patches and updates releasing more often. This is solid adventure RPG game that is highly recommended to those who want a change in scenery from the Witcher and Elder Scroll styles.

If you are interested in playing this game, you can find it on Steam right here for $20.99 (30% off). For Xbox and Playstation players, you will have to wait a bit longer.

Key features of the Game

  • Combat System: You will be using a primary melee weapon (sword) and long-range weapon (bow and arrow)
  • Boss fights: You be able to engage in combat with different bosses throughout the game — one of them being a dragon.
  • Exploration: With both multiple open and linear areas there’s enough to discover in the world of Elor. Be free, young adventurer.
  • Dungeons: Similar to many action-adventure RPG games out there. Dungeons are where you’ll be fighting monsters and gaining valuable loot. The higher the level, the more difficult the enemy becomes. But the better the loot.
