Just a few minutes ago on the Xbox YouTube channel, a video was posted announcing the Chivalry 2 open beta. You will be able to play this crossplay open beta from May 27th to May 31st and the game is releasing on June 8th, 2021. In this cozy dev diary, the developers explain a little more about Chivalry 2. At the beginning of the cinematic, a commander of the army gives an inspiring speech to calm the nerves and ignite a fire within the medieval warriors.
It really feels like a movie when you run through the castle gate and the graphics (Unreal Engine 4) are plain stunning. A chill ran down my spine when the commander said Look about you. Take it all in. Your grandchildren will want to hear everything about this day. The day you drove the traitorous mason worms back into the dirt. Chivalry 2 tells the epic story of Argon the second who is the King of the Agatha Knights who is battling against Malric os the Mason Order.
You will be able to play Chivalry on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC with crossplay.
The game is developed by Torn Banner Studios and Activision and is rated Mature for Intense Violence, Blood and Gore, Mild Sexual Themes, Language, and Use of Alcohol. If you are not familiar with Chivalry, the description from the official website sums it up perfectly:
