The Xbox Gamescom 2021 Showcase will begin at 10:00 AM Pacific and 1:00 PM Eastern time on Tuesday, August 24. The showcase will be presented by Paris Lilly and Kate Yeager for 90 minutes. While Gamescom is traditionally a huge event, also held in Germany and Cologne, this year it will only be released digitally.

You can watch the event on Facebook, Youtube, Twitch, and also Twitter. Although the event will be broadcast live in 1080p, 60fps, a 4k version will also be available on the Xbox Youtube channel after it ends. Also, it will air in 30 languages.

What’s Happening at The Xbox Gamescom 2021 Showcase?

Microsoft has already given us a few tips on what to expect from Xbox Gamescom 2021. The company had previously announced that Xbox Game Studios would inform about its upcoming projects. Microsoft also stated that it will make digital store discounts of up to 75% exclusive to Xbox Gamescom. It is among the expectations of the fans that the company will provide information about the upcoming games to Xbox Gamepass. The company also stated that we will see third-party games and first-party games at the event. Although the company announced that Xbox Game Studio games could take place in its events, it did not give any clue about first-party games.

These are what Microsoft has confirmed. So, what else should we expect from the event? Frankly, fans are now waiting to hear more about Halo Infinite. Expectations about the game, which has not yet been released, are quite high. A new beta version of the game is also expected at this event. Microsoft also announced that it will provide information about first-party games. Therefore, we can see games such as Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 and Forza Horizon 5 at the event.

Microsoft also confirmed that third-party games will be shown at the event. Therefore, it is possible that we will see Far Cry 6 and Battlefield 2042 games at the event.  We hope these highly appreciated titles will also be included in the Xbox Game Pass options.
