Elden Ring release date and gameplay trailer revealed. One of the most anticipated games of the last decade will arrive in 2022.
Created by FromSoftware and George R.R. Martin, Elden Ring is an upcoming RPG. The publisher of the game is Bandai Namco. For a really long time, the video game world believed that Elden Ring would never launch. Yet a surprise gameplay trailer has landed on Summer Game Fest Kickoff Live and also revealed the release date of the awaited game.
It has been two long years since the announcement of the game. Now that we have an exact release date and a solid gameplay trailer, the game is officially coming and it is right at the door. Elden Ring release date is January 21, 2022. We will get to experience the hardcore fantasy action on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S as well.

Considering the other titles coming from FromSoftware, Elden Rings definitely feels like another Dark Souls game. The gameplay depicts a similar atmosphere as the warriors ride through a forgotten land filled with strange horrors. Though the director of the game is Hidetaka Miyazaki, George R.R. Martin also serves as a writer in the development. So it is clearly going to be much more than a Dark Souls game.
George R.R. Martin is the name behind the brilliant fantasy series called The Song of Ice and Fire. He is still writing the next book for his famous series which was adapted to TV under the name of Game of Thrones. And Hidetaka Miyazaki on the other hand, has served in the development of Dark Souls, Dark Souls 3 and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
