Battlefield 2042 is unveiled today with livestream on the official YouTube channel of the franchise. The five-minutes long video reveals the extreme level of action in the new Battlefield game. In addition to the game’s title, the gameplay livestream date is also revealed. We’ll get to see the gameplay video on June 13, Sunday.
The last member of Battlefield series will be Battlefield 2042. The name reveal trailer has given us goosebumps. More than 700.000 million people have watched the worldwide premiere as Electronic Arts and DICE unravel their latest and the most advanced FPS title.
Battlefield 2042 Release Date
The brand new Battlefield will launch on October 22 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The last member of the FPS series will offer huge and immersive multiplayer battles up to 128-players. Now with a new class system called Specialists, players get to adjust and customize their loadouts however they want; proving the leaked information true.
Though we should note that players can experience 128-player battles only on new generation consoles and PC. Owners of last-gen consoles have to play on the same maps but with 64 players max.
About Battlefield 2042 Single Player Mode
People who love the immersive and realistic style of Battlefield but are not keen on multiplayer battles should not worry. As Battlefield 2042 is also coming with a single player mod. Instead of a long single player campaign, the brand new Battlefield will offer players a chance to fight against AI.
The developer stated that AI mod will not give any compromises from the core game.
Another amazing fact about the upcoming game will be the weather events. The new member of the FPS franchise will include devastating tornadoes, extreme weather and many others. What’s more, players will get to use such events in their favour.
