Oddworld Soulstorm Might Be Release on Xbox Consoles
Oddworld Soulstorm

Oddworld: Soulstorm is a game Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One ESRB ratings have raised questions. The game might launch on Xbox consoles in the future.

Oddworld Soulstorm is a PlayStation exclusive title and it was released back in April 2021 only for PlayStation 5 and Epic Games Store PC. Though the ‘exclusive’ title might not remain for long as the game is now rated for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

The game was free for PS Plus subscribers back in April when it launched on PS. Soulstorm is the sequel for Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasy and it is also a remake of Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus.

ESRB has rated the game for Xbox consoles yesterday. The rating is T, meaning the developer recommends the game for people above 13. Seeing an ESRB rating for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One made fans think about the possibility of seeing Soulstorm other than PlayStation.

Oddworld Soulstorm‘s physical edition release date is also today. Although it came out on April 6, 2021, Soulstorm will now have a physical copy of PS consoles.

Will Oddworld Soulstorm Launch on Xbox Game Pass?

Even though it is possible to see the game on Xbox consoles, we do not think that the title will launch on Xbox Game Pass. Considering that it also launched on a similar service provided by PlayStation, it will probably come with a price like many other titles.

Do not lose hope though, as E3 2021 is right at the door and we might hear some great news. We should eventually see Soulstorm on Xbox Game Pass as well in the future. As we all know, Microsoft’s gamer-friendly subscription service is planning to offer as many games as it can.

The situation also applies to The Medium as well. Even though The Medium is an Xbox and PC exclusive game, the possibility of seeing it on PS5 is quite likely.
